List of Sledge Hammer! episodes |
"Hammer Hits the Rock" is the 30th episode of the television series Sledge Hammer! and the eighth episode of the series' second and final season. It originally aired on ABC in the United States on November 12, 1987.[1]
Upon hearing rumors of a mobster's prison break, Captain Trunk has Hammer go undercover in the federal penitentiary as a convict under the alias "Nick the Dart". However, this means that Hammer cannot operate in this mission with his gun. Making matters more complicated is the presence of some convicts that Hammer himself sent to prison.
In one scene where scores of prisoners' arms are extended out of their cells, one pair of hands is holding an issue of The Incredible Hulk. Director/guest star Bill Bixby was best known as Dr. David Banner in the live-action TV adaptation of the comic book series.
